What to do this Easter in the Peak District
Enjoy a Perfect Easter in the Peaks
Easter is the perfect time to visit the Peaks. Spring has sprung, the flowers are emerging and there’s plenty of activities to enjoy amongst the hills and valleys.
Our Landal Parks in the Peak District at Darwin Forest and Sandybrook offer plenty of fun-filled entertainment, but venture further out and you will find lots of Easter activities to enjoy, too.
Huge lawns, gardens and farmyards – it’s easy to see spring springing at Chatsworth. And while wandering amongst it all is a great activity in itself, there are plenty of exclusive Easter events to enjoy.
Go egg-hunting in the grounds, enjoy egg-cellent trailer rides, crafts and much more. With the incredible house to explore, too, it’s incredible Easter fun and a must-visit if you’re holidaying in the Peak District.

If you like your eggs a little larger then head to the historical Bolsover Castle. The egg hunt may be a little easier, but there’s a catch: you’re looking for dragon eggs.
Follow the trail through the gardens and eventually you will reach your prize, and there are rewards for the brave adventurers who reach the end. Happy hunting!

Find fun in the gorgeous green heart of the National Forest. Conkers offers an amazing day of indoor and outdoor fun and activities with wildlife, plenty of play, trails, walks and much more.
Easter offers Ranger Activities, including orienteering, bush craft and pond dipping. If that sounds a little too much like hard work, you can let the little ones have some indoor adventures in the play area, relax in the 4D cinema and more.

Buxton’s beautiful Pavillion Gardens are the perfect place to visit if you’re seeking a more refined exploration of the Peak District. Here you will find over 20-acres of lovely landscaped gardens and over 100 years of history.
From Good Friday to Easter Monday there will be a whole host of Easter entertainment to enjoy. 65 stalls, children’s entertainment, food, children’s rides and even ferret racing await!
