Last Saturday, individuals, businesses and cities across the world joined Earth Hour 2019 to show support for a sustainable future of our beautiful planet.
Organised by WWF, the annual celebration of Earth Hour is a worldwide movement where millions of people stand in solidarity for our planet by turning off their lights and electrical appliances in a bid to create awareness for the need to protect our Earth.
Landal GreenParks is committed to caring about the future of the earth, to support this movement our parks across the UK & Europe contributed to the cause, inviting lodge guests to get involved and spread the word! Guests were encouraged to turn off electrical appliances, leave their lodges and to embrace the beautiful countryside in which Landal parks are nestled within. Candlelit dinners, twilight walks and star gazing were just a few of the activities organised by some of our parks throughout the evening to support the movement.
